Day02: Lima – Cusco - City Tour & Neighboring Ruins in Cusco. Pick up from your Hotel and transfer to the airport for the flight straight to Arequipa (Flight will be provided by South Adventure Peru Tours) Upon your arrival to Arequipa, you will be carried to HOTEL TIERRA SUR www.tierrasur.com 3*** free time to explore the beautiful city by yourself. Day03: Arequipa – Chivay with overnight in Chivay at the Hotel Colca INN.- Early in the morning, after breakfast, start your trip to the Colca Canyon, visiting on the way Pampas Cañahuas, the Mirador of the Andes, the Crater of Chucura, the Mirador of Chivay, where pre-Inca Cultivation terraces may be appreciated. Arrival to the Town of Chivay at 13:00hrs. Approx. Transfer to your selected Lodge. Box lunch (light meals in the altitude).In the afternoon free time to visit Hot Spring Thermal and Medicinal Baths. Day04: Chivay - Condor's Cross – Arequipa.- After breakfast, very early in the morning, drive to the Condor's Cross, a natural observation point from where the magnitude of the Colca Canyon and the spectacular flight of the majestic Condor can be appreciated. On the way back to Chivay, visit to the Mirador of Chinina, where we will find the famous cliffside Tombs and the Hanging Bridge of Sifón that joins the Town of Yanque with Coporaque. When at the Town of Yanque, visit its beautiful church and its characteristic cobbled streets among other attractions. To have spectacular views of the Colca Valley, we will drive to the Lookout points of Choquetipo and Artahuilque and also to the Town of Maca. In the afternoon, return to the City of Arequipa, arriving at 18:00hrs. Approx. Overnight at selected hotel. Day06: Cusco-Sacred Valley- Pisac Market and Ruins – Ollantaytambo- Chincheros- Cusco TFull day Sacred Valley excursion. 31 km (19 miles) far from Cusco is Pisac, at the entrance of the Sacred Valley. Visit the colorful market that on sundays, tuesdays and thursdays a craft fair took place where you can buy beautiful handicrafts and sourvenirs. The lunch will be served in a local restaurant. The tour continues towards Ollantaytambo, an archaeological site that the Incas built as a fort and includes a temple, agricultural terraces, and an urban area. There are two distinct sectors: Araqama Ayllu, the religious and worship zone, and Qosqo Ayllu, the residential area. Ollantaytambo was an important administrative center with probable military functions due to the walls and towers. There are also traces of ancient roads and aqueducts. The town of Ollantaytambo is called a Living-Inca-Town, since the inhabitants maintain very old practices and customs. Day08: Sun gate at Aguas Calientes - Machupicchu – Cusco.- First Option At 4:30am breakfast and begin of 2 hours climb to Machu Picchu archaeological site (2500m).Second Option:At 5am breakfast and half hour later aboard the first tourist bus to drop us to Machu Picchu main door, and to be the first visitors Inside Machu Picchu archaeological site you will have complete guided tour during 2 Hours of this spectacular and mystical place. The guided tour include walk through the different section such as the urban sector, the agriculture sector, and the religions zone was used by the Inca Culture.After to get 2 Hours guided tour in Machu Picchu you will have free time to explore by yourself. According with the time and your feeling you can coordinating with the tour guide climb to Huayna Picchu (Young Mountain) this climbing take around 1 hour to get the summit from where you can have the best panoramic view for photos of all Machu Picchu and of deep green canyon surrounding the sacred Inca City. Day12: (2D/1N) Tour to the floating Island of Uros and Amantani (stay with the local family)Pick up from your hotel between 7.00 to 7:30 am then transfer to the port to take the motor boat From Puno to Uros Island legendary. Where you can observe the lives of the Uros people who live on floating reed islands, after a beautiful 3hr boat ride we reach Amantani Island where we will break into smaller groups to stay with the local families. You have the opportunity to trek to the top of the mountain (4150 mtrs) to see the Temples of the Pachamama and Pachatata and enjoy the traditional customs of the island people.
