Day01: Reception at the airport and transfer to your mentioned hotel in Lima.- Upon appropriate arrival time to Lima, you will be met and transferred to the selected hotel in Lima. Hotel MELODIA www.hotelmelodia.com free time to explore by yourself. (Accommodation 01 Matrimonial Room)
Day02: Lima – Cusco - City Tour & Neighboring Ruins in Cusco. Pick up from your Hotel and transfer to the airport for the flight straight to Cusco (Flight will be provided by South Adventure Peru Tours) Upon your arrival at the airport you will be carried to the selected Hotel TAIPIKALA www.taypikala.com 4**** Accommodation 01 Matrimonial Room..Afternoon City tour for 3 hours through the beautiful Cusco city and its nearby ruins. The tour will show you the amazing colonial city built on the foundations of the Inca palaces. You will visit the Qoricancha or Temple of the Sun, where you can appreciate the incredible masonry of the Incas, The Plaza de Armas and The Cathedral with its carved woodworks, altars and paintings. Then you will be driven to The Inca fortress of Sacsayhuaman, to the underground cave and temple of Kenko and to Tambomachay, known as the Baths of the Inca. Afternoon, you will come back to Cusco and transfer back to your Hotel in Cusco.Meals not included.
Day3: Cusco-Sacred Valley- Pisac Market and Ruins – Ollantaytambo- Chincheros- Cusco.-Full day Sacred Valley excursion. 31 km (19 miles) far from Cusco is Pisac, at the entrance of the Sacred Valley. Visit the colorful market that on sundays, tuesdays and thursdays a craft fair took place where you can buy beautiful handicrafts and sourvenirs. The lunch will be served in a local restaurant. The tour continues towards Ollantaytambo, an archaeological site that the Incas built as a fort and includes a temple, agricultural terraces, and an urban area. There are two distinct sectors: Araqama Ayllu, the religious and worship zone, and Qosqo Ayllu, the residential area. Ollantaytambo was an important administrative center with probable military functions due to the walls and towers. There are also traces of ancient roads and aqueducts. The town of Ollantaytambo is called a Living-Inca-Town, since the inhabitants maintain very old practices and customs. Day04: 2Day/1Night Tour to Machu Picchu by VISTADOME Overnight in Aguas Calientes.- We will pick you from your Hotel between 5-5:30 pm to the train station of Poroy , the train leaves at 6:30 am After a 3 Hours / 30 Minutes journey of majestic views you arrive at Aguas Calientes Calientes (Hot Springs Town) where you will spend the night. There will be plenty of time to relax if you want to have a hot bath in the natural springs!!! The train ride consist is an spectacular views along the way in this wonderful land of the Incas, amazing landscapes of mountains and valleys, Inca farming terraces, in both sides of the valley, snow capped mountains, and sub-tropical jungle near the Ceja de Selva. From Pachar the sacred Vilcanota River will be our company untills the end. Aguas Calientes town is set in 2,040 mts and is the closest access point to Machupicchu. You will continue the last 30 minutes by train to the end of the line in Aguas Calientes train Station, the bottom town of Machu Picchu. If time permit. Day05: Sun gate at Aguas Calientes - Machupicchu – Cusco: First Option: At 4:30am breakfast and begin of 2 hours climb to Machu Picchu archaeological site (2500m).Second Option: At 5am breakfast and half hour later aboard the first tourist bus to drop us to Machu Picchu main door, and to be the first visitors Inside Machu Picchu archaeological site you will have complete guided tour during 2 Hours of this spectacular and mystical place. The guided tour include walk through the different section such as the urban sector, the agriculture sector, and the religions zone was used by the Inca Culture.After to get 2 Hours guided tour in Machu Picchu you will have free time to explore by yourself. According with the time and your feeling you can coordinating with the tour guide climb to Huayna Picchu (Young Mountain) this climbing take around 1 hour to get the summit from where you can have the best panoramic view for photos of all Machu Picchu and of deep green canyon surrounding the sacred Inca City. At according time descend to Machu Picchu and then free time to explorer on your own. At mentioned time aboard a tourist bus to descend to Aguas Calientes town.
Important: If you decide to climb the Huayna Picchu Mountain you must need to know the limit number for visitors is not more than 400 tourists per day, the climbing depends of the weather conditions. At mentioned time aboard a tourist bus to descend to Aguas Calientes town. Then we travel by train to Ollantaytambo and then we catch the van to drop us to hotel in Cusco (2 Hours by train and 2 Hours by Van) We suggest being in Aguas Calientes at 2:30 pm to aboard the backpacker train leaves at 3:20pm depends of the available tickets at Peru Rail so those trains can be arranged until Ollantaytambo or straight to Cusco and from here we will take you a private van to drop off to the Hotel in Cusco TAIPIKALA www.taypikala.com 4**** Accommodation 01 Matrimonial Room. Day06: 1Day White Water Rafting. Day07: Private tour to Maras / Moray and Salt Mines.- After your delicious breakfast , pick up from your hotel and Drive to maras Town where you can see nice gateways narrow streets, then drive About 7 kms. (4.3 miles) to the southwest and reach Moray, a unique archaeological site in the region. Consisting in enormous depressions or hollows in the ground surface that Inkas made, used as agriculture experimentation centre, What is surprising is that the difference of average annual temperature between the top and the bottom. After visiting moray we continue towards the northwest of the village and get the famous "Salt Mines". The "salt mines" are constituted by about 3000 small pools with an average area of 5 m² (53.8 ft²), constructed in a slope of the "Qaqawiñay" mountain. People fill up or "irrigate" the pools with salty water emanating from a natural spring located on the top of the complex.
