About Us….

Our travel agency, based in Cusco, established in 2006 by Peruvian partnership with the aim of providing tourists with an unforgettable service using native knowledge and local people. Our Company of South Adventure Peru Tour operator located in the heart of Cusco, the historic capital of the Inca Empire. Over the years we have built up a professional team of guides, cooks, porters and horsemen as well as excellent camping equipment. You’ll find that trekking with a guide who knows and loves the country will help educate you about Peru’s amazing history and culture, providing you with an enjoyable and rewarding experience. Our company emphasis is on providing a personal service and ensuring that everyone in the group returns satisfied. We believe that our dynamic mix of indigenous and international awareness helps us to organize tours that give visitors a unique experience in Peru. We want you to take as much pleasure in this beautiful country as we do and due to our passion for the culture and people, we believe we make this possible!!

The Staff at South Adventure Peru tours take a slightly different approach to life than the usual office employee. We're not travel agents sitting behind a desk in suits advising you on things that we've only read about in books – we're made up of people with real experience in travelling, all from different backgrounds but with a genuine love of Peru: its culture, its mountains and jungles, and its even been known for us to enjoy a night out in the occasional bar or disco! The staff in our office here in Cusco are made up of the following: Choose to be surprised, not disappointed, with all places, services, or people do not match your expectations.

The Managers .- Ruben Coronado and Tatiana Zuniga. After having worked in  office as Counter  in many Travel agencies in Cusco  and later as a Tour Guide for a variety of travel agencies, Ruben and  Tatiana decided to make use of his experience and knowledge so he and his wife decided to open their own travel agency in Cusco in order to help many people with fewer resources from small communities living over 4500 meters above sea level, the whole team south Peru adventure tours are always proud to continue working helping many poor people.
Our Porters and Cooks.- We employ local people as porters and Cooks who undoubtedly work extremely hard at their jobs. You will see them on the Inca Trail nimbly running past you carrying all the equipment you will use - tents, tables and chairs, food, water etc. (On other trekking routes horses are allowed and therefore the porters and cooks do not carry all the equipment.) In the past, the weight of these loads was sometimes excessive and although they are still heavy and the porters and cooks' working conditions in general are not perfect, we are pleased to say there have been a number of improvements in recent years.

Staff of South Adventure Peru Tours

The most important factor for a successful, enjoyable and educational adventure is the expertise of our tour guides at South Adventure Peru Tours, the technical skills of our guides have been the hallmark of our company's reputation.
