The marvelous geoglyphs of this coastal region are the main attraction for travelers in Peru seeking history with an air of mystery. Estimated to have been begun around 400 BC and possibly continued for another thousand years, these immense representations of animals, human figures and geometric shapes are spread across more than 500 square kilometers between the Nazca and Ingenious Rivers and make for spectacular viewing from small aircraft.

Day 1:Arequipa – Nazca: In Arequipa we will pick you up from your hotel at 9:20 pm to take the overnight Bus leaves at 10:00 pm to Nazca arriving at approx 06:30 am. Where our representing will pick you up from the terminal then you will be transferred to Hotel Masson Suisse to enjoy a shower and relax. Around this hotel there are a couple of local restaurants where you can buy breakfast if you like.
Day 2: Nazca –Flight Over-City Tour – Lima: Between 8:30 to 9:00 am you will be transferred to the local airport of Nazca, located just 4 kilometers away from downtown. Upon your arrival at the airport, our staff will show you a video film about The Nazca Lines. Flight over the mysterious Nazca Lines. Approximately 35 Minutes flying over this enigmatic zone, where hundreds of years ago ancient Peruvians drew huge designs, which can be seen only from the air. Among the figures we will see an enormous representation of a monkey, a hummingbird, a condor, and a strange creature known as the Spaceman. The Nazca Lines have been studied by many people including Paul Kosok their discoverer, and scientists such as the famous Maria Reich.
Afterwards you will be transferred to the local airport of Nazca, located just 4 kilometers away from downtown. Upon your arrival at the airport, our staff will show you a video film about The Nazca Lines. This interesting documentary lasts about 40 minutes and involves serious information about the Nazca Culture, as well as the figures you will see from the air. For this aerial tour, you will board a small Cessna single-engine aircraft (Station air, Sky hawk or Skyline type), which has spacious room for 5 people, each person with a window seat. After the video, our English speaking pilot will proceed to give you a briefing about this air tour and also will give each participant a map of the archaeological zone, which shows all the figures you will see from the air. After some basic information about the Lines and safety instructions, you will board the airplane and will take off. In a matter of just 2 minutes you will be flying over the Nazca Lines zone, and the first figure you will see from the air it will be the whale. This beautiful marine deity is located on the eastern part of the archaeological complex, and was drawn over a big rectangular figure (see Nazca Lines map).
Afterwards, we will visit the pre-Inca cementery of Chauchilla. For many years this pre Inca place was looted by treasure hunters, who ransacked the place completely, taking away all the treasures the mummies kept in their tombs for centuries. These grave robbers just left behind the corpses, which can be seen today all over the ground. In addition to skulls and bones, you also can see several century old tombs, as well as long human hairs, ceramic fragments and others remains scattered on the desert surface. After touring around we go back to Nazca to visit a Ceramic Studio, where a craftsman will give us a better insight about the Nazca Civilization and the colorful vessels they made hundreds of years ago; The local factory with the process of Gold extraction will be also visited.
Afternoon we will transfer you back to the hotel to pick up your luggage then12:30 Hrs pm transfer to bus terminal for the 13.30pm Ormeño Royal Class Bus to Lima arriving Lima approx 9.00 pm.
