products, fruit salads, breakfasts and other snacks.
Good coffee. Classical music. Always full of tourists
and locals alike. One of the oldest cafes in Cusco. Good
service, good value. Open Mon-Sat 6.30am-11pm, Sun

Trotamundos
Portal de Comercio 177, 2nd Floor, opposite the
cathedral. Sit out on the balcony and get some of the
best views in Cusco. A good selection of snacks,
breakfasts, sandwiches and the usual dishes, steak and
chicken. Friendly service. Excellent filter coffee. Good
range of salads that are safe to eat. Cafe/bar
particularly cosy at night with a blazing open fire. a
bit pricey. Internet access. Open 8am-11pm
Cafe Varayoc
Espaderos 142, Tel: 232404 small Swiss-owned cafe-bar
with a quiet atmosphere, ideal for reading or writing
postcards and a good meeting place, serves excellent
coffee, apple pie, sandwiches and specialises in fondue.

The Muse
Tandapata 682, Plazoleta San Blas. (behind the
waterfall overlooking San Blas Plaza). English owner.
Often has live music. Great coffee. Snacks and meals,
good lasagne. Great place to sit outside when its sunny
and watch the world go by.

Fruit juices and coffee (OK). Profits go to helping
street kids and orphans who also work in the bakers.

Guillermo, this friendly couch-bar is a great place to
meet up with friends. Full of comfy sofas, magazines and
board games as well as tasty snacks, coffee and
alcoholic drinks. Open daily 1pm - 1am.
Nortons Tavern
Loreto 115, Plaza de Armas, in between the
Cathedral and Church Owned by American Geoffrey, this
bar appeals to both travelers and locals alike. It has
great balconies giving probably the best view of the
Plaza de Armas, ideal to watch the world go by. You can
also get snacks including excellent hamburgers. Darts
and pool. Cable TV showing plenty of sports. Open daily
noon- 1am. Happy hour 7 - 9 pm.

Santa Catalina Ancha 360
Located just around the corner from the Plaza de Armas,
this Irish owned bar is the more up-market of Cusco's
two Irish watering holes. Guinness costs S/ 15 for a
draught can. Good bar food and friendly service.
Extensive menu. Sports shown on cable TV. Open 11 am. -
1 am. Happy hour 1 - 2 pm and 11 - 11:30 pm
