Day01: Reception at the airport and transfer to your mentioned hotel in Lima.- Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the selected hotel in Lima. Hotel Melodia www.hotelmelodia.com free time to explore by yourself. (Accommodation Double or Matrimonial Room)
Day02: Flight from Lima to the Amazon of Puerto Maldonado-Tambo Jungle Lodge .- At the appropriate time, transfer to the airport. Airline ticket to Puerto Maldonado. On arrival of your flight to Puerto Maldonado, Our Guide/Staff will meet you at the Airport and transfer you to the Centre of town- where you can visit the exotic local market. Depending on the arrival time of the flights we may have the first lunch here or while traveling to\or at the lodge. Your excess luggage will be stored safely in our Office in Puerto Maldonado and then we will continue onto the port. We take our private boat along the Madre de Dios River for approximately 1 hour to TAMBO JUNGLE LODGE. A cool welcome drink awaits you and then you´ll be shown to your Bungalows to settle in the afternoon we will take a 30 min boat journey to Monkey Island where you can appreciate a great diversity of monkeys such as the “Maquisapa”, “Martin”, “Little lions”, “Frailes”, “Achuñis”, Ronsocos” etc, as well as a rich variety of birds,Return to JUNGLE LODGE for a delicious traditional Dinner. Nocturnal Activities are available each night. These range from nocturnal walks, talks on different topics and Cayman spotting when conditions are optiomal (Lunch and Dinner)

Day03: Tambo Jungle Lodge and Wildlife of Sandoval Lake Lodge.- After a great Jungle Breakfast, we take a 1.5 hour walk to the famous Sandoval Lake, passing through virgin forest, home to beautiful flora and fauna including Giant Otters, Water Birds, Alligators, wild hens, Taricayas (small turtles) and a variety of fish. We will spend a few hours in canoe on this, one of the most beautiful lakes in the Madre de Dios where you can fish for piranha, row, swim, and walk or simply relax before returning to the Lodge in the afternoon. We will have a box lunch at Sandoval Lake. One of the most awe inspiring features of the Jungle is the enormity of the trees and you will have the experience of standing at the base of the huge Lupuna. We may take a short visit to the Fitzcarral boat or there is the opportunity to visit the traditional farming areas of the zone. Return to the lodge. Dinner. Nocturnal Activities (optional) (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
Day04: Tambo Jungle - Taricaya Proyect.- Jungle Breakfast, Further opportunities for discovering the amazing ecosystem up close along an array of trails. We will travel a further 1 hour down river to the Taricaya Project of specialized trails where you´ll be led by your guide. He will further amaze you with the marvels of the jungle through a gentle hike and learning to recognize bird calls, footprints and medicinal plants and their qualities.After our lunch here you can have the experience of their Canopy Walk.Return to the Lodge between 4 and 5 in the afternoon for your final sunset in the Jungle before a traditional Farewell Dinner. Nocturnal Activities (optional) (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner).
Day05: Tambo Jungle Lodge – Parrot Lick - Puerto Maldonado – City Tour in Cusco.-Very early departure to view the Collpa de Loros, (parrot claylick) Sunrise on the river as we journey 1 and a half hours to a clay wall where hundreds of green parrots congregate at first light each morning. We will generally be able to spend about an hour here before re-boarding the boat to enjoy breakfast on our return to Puerto Maldonado. Check in 2 hours before flight and then time to visit the stunning Snake farm before your flight on to Cusco. Breakfast. Upon your arrival at the airport you will be carried to the selected hotel of Apu Huascaran www.apuhuascaranperu.com Afternoon City tour for 3 hours through the beautiful Cusco city and its nearby ruins. The tour will show you the amazing colonial city built on the foundations of the Inca palaces. You will visit the Qoricancha or Temple of the Sun, where you can appreciate the incredible masonry of the Incas, The Plaza de Armas and The Cathedral with its carved woodworks, altars and paintings. Then you will be driven to The Inca fortress of Sacsayhuaman, to the underground cave and temple of Kenko and to Tambomachay, known as the Baths of the Inca. Afternoon, you will come back to Cusco and transfer back to your Hotel in Cusco.Meals included: Breakfast at the Hotel.
Day06: Full Day Sacred Valley tour Pisac – Urubamba, Ollantaytambo - Chincheros–Cusco. Full day Sacred Valley excursion. 31 km (19 miles) far from Cusco is Pisac, at the entrance of the Sacred Valley. Visit the colorful market that on sundays, tuesdays and thursdays a craft fair took place where you can buy beautiful handicrafts and sourvenirs. The lunch will be served in a local restaurant. The tour continues towards Ollantaytambo, an archaeological site that the Incas built as a fort and includes a temple, agricultural terraces, and an urban area. There are two distinct sectors: Araqama Ayllu, the religious and worship zone, and Qosqo Ayllu, the residential area. Ollantaytambo was an important administrative center with probable military functions due to the walls and towers. There are also traces of ancient roads and aqueducts. The town of Ollantaytambo is called a Living-Inca-Town, since the inhabitants maintain very old practices and customs. On the way back to Cusco we will stop by the colorful village of Chinchero , where we will find the ruins of the Tupac Inca Yupanqui Royal House, we will appreciate its well preserve Inca wall in the main square and you will visit the beauty Colonial Temple with invaluable portraits, built over Inca Bases. Afternoon we will return to Cusco around 6:30 pm. Then transfer back to your mentioned Hotel Apu Huascaran www.apuhuascaranperu.com. Meals included: Breakfast and Buffet Lunch in Urubamba..
Day07: 4Days INCA TRAIL to Machupicchu Trek- Cusco Km 82 – Hayllabamba. The Inca Trail to Machu Picchu 4 Day Trek At 06:00 am a spectacular early morning drive through the Sacred Valley takes us to our trailhead at Km. 82 Piskacucho After meeting our staff and porters you will set out, crossing a footbridge to hike a gentle two hours down the Urubamba canyon, and then visit imposing sculpted Inca farming terraces and the settlement of Llaqtapata on the banks of the Cusichaca side river. We then climb a short way up the Cusichaca valley to Huayllabamba, where we camp.

Day08: INCA TRAIL- Hayllabamba – Dead Woman`s Pass – Pacaymayo.. After our delicious breakfast, we will climb the steep-sided Llullucha valley past a rushing stream and through enchanting subtropical woodland. Crossing the rim of a small plateau, we find ourselves in the puna, the treeless grasslands of the high Andes. The trail traverses an open slope opposite mighty mountain crags as we ascend to the first and highest pass, Warmiwañusca (4,200m). Here we encounter spectacular views of the trail ahead to the second pass, and look back to the sweeping snowpeaks Huayanay and valleys we then follow the trail to the floor of the Pacaymayo valley, where we camp for the night.

Day09: INCA TRAIL- Pacaymayo – Runcuracay – Phuyu Patamarca & Wiñaywayna.- This morning After our delicious breakfast, we will pick up an Inca stairway and ascend again past the small Inca site of Runkuracay. As we reach the second pass, the landscape opens onto spectacular new views to the snowpeaks of the Pumasillo range. We descend to the ruins of Sayacmarca (Inaccessible Town), an intricate labyrinth of houses, plazas and water channels, perched precariously on a rocky spur overlooking the Aobamba valley. The Inca trail, now a massive buttressed structure of granite paving stones, continues along the steep upper fringes of the cloud forest through a colorful riot of orchids, bromeliads, mosses and ferns. At the third pass pinnacles topped with Inca viewing platforms overlook the archaeological complex of Phuyupatamarca (Cloud-level Town).Pausing to explore the maze of Inca stone towers, fountains and stairways that spills down the mountainside here, we begin a long descent through ever-changing layers of cloud forest. An Inca stairway partly cut from living granite leads us finally to our camp by the ruins of Wiñay Wayna (Forever Young), the largest and most exquisite of the Inca Trail sites.

Day10: INCA TRAIL- Wiñayhuayna – Inti Punku – Machu Picchu – Aguas Calientes – Cusco.-Early in the morning we will wake you up at 04:30 am for a fast breakfast, pack our belongings and be ready first at the line, (CAMPSITE`S DOOR WILL OPEN AT 05:30 AM ) The hike takes us an hour toward a gentle up walk through lush, humid cloud-forest of giant ferns and broad-leaf vegetation, well preserved stone road and stair with a wonderful views of the Valley of Torontoy. Suddenly after an hour we cross and arrive to the stone threshold of Intipunku (Sun`s Gate) first great view of the whole city and forested peaks framing the magical city of Machu Picchu….We complete the final leg down the royal Inca road past outlying shrines and buildings and into the heart of Machu Picchu, where we spend the rest of the morning with a guided tour of the highlights and some individual exploring among Machu Picchu's multitude of hidden rocks and corners; after your guided visit in this sanctuary later on you will have a free time for picture or exploration in your own. In the afternoon between 1 to 2 pm you will take the bus down to the foot of the mountain to the small town of Aguas Calientes where we will have our last lunch at restaurant HOT SPRINGS , then at 4:45 pm we will board a train straight to Cusco station and from there a private transport back to Cusco arriving around 9:00pm / For all trekkers who want to climb to the Young Mountain Huayna Picchu, please try to coordinate to your tour guide to get your passes for it. Return to Cusco and transfer back to Hotel Apu Huascaran (Accommodation Matrimonial or Double rooms). Meals included: Breakfast / Lunch Except last dinner.
Day11: Cusco – Andahuaylillas – Rhacchi – Pikillacta – Puno.- In the morning, We will pick you up from your hotel At 7:00 am to transfer you to the bus terminal of First Class (VIP service, Touristic Bus Cusco to Puno) . The service is by an English speaking guide for tours of sites along the way; Andahuylillas, Tipon , Rhachi , Pikillacta and Pucara with spectacular views. Along the way, you will stop in Sicuani to enjoy a nice traditional buffet lunch provided by our company. Day12: 1 Day tour to the Floating Island of Uros and Taquile.- Pick up from your hotel at 7:00 am then transfer from your hotel to the port and by motor boat we travel to one of the Uros Islands where you can observe the lives of the people who live on floating reed islands. After a beautiful 2 hr boat ride we reach Taquile Island where we will tour around the ruins and visit these beautiful people, world famous for their intricate and fascinating weavings, after you purchase lunch we will return to Puno.
