Day01: Reception at the airport and transfer to your mentioned hotel in Lima.- Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the selected hotel in Lima. Hotel Melodia www.hotelmelodia.com free time to explore by yourself. (Accommodation Double or Matrimonial Room)
Day02: Lima – Flight to Cusco & City Tour in Cusco.- Upon your arrival at the airport you will be carried to the selected hotel of Apu Huascaran www.apuhuascaranperu.com Afternoon City tour for 3 hours through the beautiful Cusco city and its nearby ruins. The tour will show you the amazing colonial city built on the foundations of the Inca palaces. You will visit Qoricancha or Temple of the Sun, where you can appreciate the incredible masonry of the Incas, The Plaza de Armas and The Cathedral with its carved woodworks, altars and paintings. Then you will be driven to The Inca fortress of Sacsayhuaman, to the underground cave and temple of Kenko and to Tambomachay, known as the Baths of the Inca. Afternoon, you will come back to Cusco and transfer back to your Hotel in Cusco.Meals included: Breakfast at the Hotel in Lima.
Day03: Full Day Sacred Valley tour Pisac – Urubamba, Ollantaytambo - Chincheros – Cusco.- Full day Sacred Valley excursion. 31 km (19 miles) far from Cusco is Pisac, at the entrance of the Sacred Valley. Visit the colorful market that on sundays, tuesdays and thursdays a craft fair took place where you can buy beautiful handicrafts and sourvenirs. The lunch will be served in a local restaurant. The tour continues towards Ollantaytambo, an archaeological site that the Incas built as a fort and includes a temple, agricultural terraces, and an urban area. There are two distinct sectors: Araqama Ayllu, the religious and worship zone, and Qosqo Ayllu, the residential area. Ollantaytambo was an important administrative center with probable military functions due to the walls and towers. There are also traces of ancient roads and aqueducts. The town of Ollantaytambo is called a Living-Inca-Town, since the inhabitants maintain very old practices and customs. On the way back to Cusco we will stop by the colorful village of Chinchero , where we will find the ruins of the Tupac Inca Yupanqui Royal House, we will appreciate its well preserve Inca wall in the main square and you will visit the beauty Colonial Temple with invaluable portraits, built over Inca Bases. Afternoon we will return to Cusco around 6:30 pm. Then transfer back to your mentioned Hotel.Apu Huascaran www.apuhuascaranperu.com Meals included: Breakfast and Buffet Lunch in Urubamba.
Day04: 2Days INCA TRAIL to Machupicchu Trek.-We`ll pick you up from your Hotel at 06:00 am to transfer you to Train Station for a 4 hour journey or in high season this may be with private transport to Ollantaytambo train station, then we`ll board a Tourist Backpacker Train with reserved seats for 1 hour and 45 minutes to the kilometer 104 start of the hike. As soon as we arrive to this point we will cross a bridge to the check out point and show your passports then we will start a soft walk into the other side of the Vilcanota River the trail heads off to the right towards the ruins of Chachabamba. After a visit in Chachabamba, we`ll continue the trail heads south and begin climbing the mountain, before entering the cloud forest. Then the trail leaves the forest and goes west while continuing the uphill hike in open grassland. After hiking in the sun for about three hours, the trail descends into a shaded forest. This is where trekkers can enjoy a beautiful waterfall. After leaving the waterfall and forest, trekkers will arrive at the lower part of the incredible ruins of Wiñaywayna. It is recommended that you start the trek with at least 2 litres of water. After lunch in Wiñaywayna we continue through a cloud forest full of bromelias, orchids and fern trees. You will walk the last part of the original trail with amazing features stone steps and tambos “resting places” and climb the 60 steps before arriving to the Inti Punku or "Sun`s Gate". From this point you will be able to contemplate and observe this marvelous place, last 45 minutes to be on front of this wonder, where you can feel an inner peace. Spend a short time for pictures and views then we prepare our mind for the next early morning, time to take a bus for 30 minutes to Aguas Calientes town. Hot springs pools are optional or just free time to chill out at this small village. Day05: INCA TRAIL / Aguas Calientes / Sun Gateguas Machu picchu-Wayna picchu – Cusco.- First Option: At 4:30am breakfast and begin of 2 hours climb to Machu Picchu archaeological site (2500m).Second Option: At 5am breakfast and half hour later aboard the first tourist bus to drop us to Machu Picchu main door, and to be the first visitors Inside Machu Picchu archaeological site you will have complete guided tour during 2 Hours of this spectacular and mystical place. The guided tour include walk through the different section such as the urban sector, the agriculture sector, and the religions zone was used by the Inca Culture.After to get 2 Hours guided tour in Machu Picchu you will have free time to explore by yourself. According with the time and your feeling you can coordinating with the tour guide climb to Huayna Picchu (Young Mountain) this climbing take around 1 hour to get the summit from where you can have the best panoramic view for photos of all Machu Picchu and of deep green canyon surrounding the sacred Inca City. At according time descend to Machu Picchu and then free time to explorer on your own. At mentioned time aboard a tourist bus to descend to Aguas Calientes town.Important: If you decide to climb the Huayna Picchu Mountain you must need to know the limit number for visitors is not more than 400 tourists per day, the climbing depends of the weather conditions. At mentioned time aboard a tourist bus to descend to Aguas Calientes town. Then we travel by train to Ollantaytambo and then we catch the van to drop us to hotel in Cusco (2 Hours by train and 2 Hours by Van) end of service.
We suggest being in Aguas Calientes at 4:00 pm to aboard the backpacker train leaves at 4:45pm or could be at 6:45pm, depending of the available tickets at Peru Rail so those trains can be arranged until Ollantaytambo or straight to Cusco and from here we will take you a private van to drop off to the hotel in Cusco Apu Huascaran www.apuhuascaranperu.com (This day Breakfast and Box Lunch are provided except Dinner)
Day06: : 1Day White Water Rafting.- This morning , we will pass to pick you up from your Hotel at 8:45 am to take our private transport Cusco – Chuquicahuana which is more that 2 hours adrenaline experience in a with water rafting, with a private transport , complete equipment, guides and lunch included ( From 9:00 am until 5:30 pm ) Hotel Apu Huascaran (Accommodation Matrimonial or Double room). Day07: : After your delicious breakfast, transfer to the airport in Cusco (END OF PACKAGE)
