Day01: Welcome and City Tour & Neighboring Ruins.- Upon your arrival at the airport you will be carried to the selected HOTEL LA ENCANTADA www.encantadaperu.com OR can be with the HOTEL ECO INN www.ecoinnhotels.com with private bathroom , hot shower , buffet breakfast , Internet. Afternoon City tour for 3 hours through the beautiful Cusco city and its nearby ruins. The tour will show you the amazing colonial city built on the foundations of the Inca palaces. You will visit the Qoricancha or Temple of the Sun, where you can appreciate the incredible masonry of the Incas, The Plaza de Armas and the Cathedral with its carved woodworks, altars and paintings. Then you will be driven to the Inca fortress of Sacsayhuaman, to the underground cave and temple of Kenko and to Tambomachay, known as the Baths of the Inca. Afternoon, you will come back to Cusco and transfer back to your Hotel in Cusco...Meals included: Breakfast at the Hotel.
Day02: Cusco-Sacred Valley- Pisac Market and Ruins – Ollantaytambo.-Chincheros – Cusco.-Full day Sacred Valley excursion. 31 km (19 miles) far from Cusco is Pisac, at the entrance of the Sacred Valley. Visit the colorful market that on sundays, tuesdays and thursdays a craft fair took place where you can buy beautiful handicrafts and sourvenirs. The lunch will be served in a local restaurant. The tour continues towards Ollantaytambo, an archaeological site that the Incas built as a fort and includes a temple, agricultural terraces, and an urban area. There are two distinct sectors: Araqama Ayllu, the religious and worship zone, and Qosqo Ayllu, the residential area. Ollantaytambo was an important administrative center with probable military functions due to the walls and towers. There are also traces of ancient roads and aqueducts. The town of Ollantaytambo is called a Living-Inca-Town, since the inhabitants maintain very old practices and customs. On the way back to Cusco we will stop by the colorful village of Chinchero , where we will find the ruins of the Tupac Inca Yupanqui Royal House, we will appreciate its well preserve Inca wall in the main square and you will visit the beauty Colonial Temple with invaluable portraits, built over Inca Bases. Afternoon we will return to Cusco around 6:30 pm. Day03:1Day tour to Machupicchu.-A full day tour guided tour of Machu Picchu, the most spectacular ancient city in the world. Built by the Inca Pachacutec, and comprising stone blocks fitted with masterful precision, Machu Picchu harmoniously blends into the mountain landscape. There are many theories as to the origins behind Machu Picchu but three of the most popular ideas include a temple to the sun, a fortress against the jungle inhabitants or a sanctuary for the Incas. This fabulous city has houses, temples, warehouses, a large central square, all connected by narrow roads and steps, and is surrounded by terraces cut into the mountain side which were used for agriculture. After the tour, free time to explore the wonder of the world by yourself before return to Cuzco.
Itinerary. - We will pick you from your Hotel between 6-6:30 pm to the train station of Poroy , the train leaves at 7:40 am After a 4 Hours journey of majestic views you arrive at Aguas Calientes (Hot Springs Town) where our tour Guide Will be waiting there , he will lead us to the bus station, to go up by a zigzag way for 30 minutes to reach the world wide marvel The Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, known as the lost city of the Incas. Once we get to Machu-Picchu, We'll pass through the control, where we'll hand in our entrance tickets and where our guided tour will start, visiting the main square, the Circular tower, the sacred solar watch, the royal rooms, the temple of the three windows and the cementeries, Our tour lasts around two hours,Afterwards you'll be given time enough to have a walk around the citadel and have your meals , at any restaurant in Aguas Calientes or if you wish at Santuary Lodge (this is not included).In the afternoon, betwen 3:30 pm and 5:00 pm we'll return on train to Cusco, we'll be waiting for you at the train station and then we'll take you back to your hotel arrives about 9:00 pm.overnight at HOTEL LA ENCANTADA www.encantadaperu.com OR can be with the HOTEL ECO INN www.ecoinnhotels.com with private bathroom , hot shower , buffet breakfast , Internet..
