Day 1: Welcome and City Tour in Cusco:
On you arrival to Cusco , our representative will be waiting for you holding a board with your names then transport to the Hotel Marqueses 3***www.hotelmarqueses.com . At 1:30 pm pick up from your hotel for the Half day City Tour where you will be able to visit Cathedral , Qoricancha and the archeologial sites such as the famous Sacsayhuaman , Qenqo , Pucapucara and Tambochay.after finish the trip transfer to your mentioned hotel.
Day 2: Full Day Sacred Valley tour Pisac – Urubamba -Ollantaytambo & Chincheros – Cusco.
This tour starts around 9:00 am we will pick you up at your hotel , we have a guided tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, over the Vilcanota river, with a panoramic view.of Pisac and Old Inca City and visit to the Traditional market in this villaje .where we will have the change to know in a closer way its people customsand get good borgains with the handycrafts and sourveniers sellers , afterwards we`ll head for Urubamba , travelling on the borders of the river Vilcanota we will have at a restaurant in the Sacred Valley of the Inca . In the afternoon we visit the fortress and citadel of Ollantaytambo built to watch the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from the jungle habitants invasions . We will have the change to walk by the narrow streets and have a clear knowledge of how is this militar,religious and cultural center was during the inca empire.
On the way back to Cusco we will stop by the colorful villaje of Chinchero , where we will find the ruins of the Tupac Inca Yupanqui Royal House , we will apprecite its well preserve inca wall in the main square and you will visit the beautiful colonial temple with invaluable portraits ,built over Inca Bases, then return to Cusco around 7:00pm and drop of at your Hotel Marqueses..
Day 3: 2 Days/1 Night Machupicchu Classic.
Your Guide will pick you up at 4:00 am and take you to the train station of Piscacucho - the train leaves at 7:20 am. After a 1-hour /15 minuts journey of majestic views you arrive at Aguas Calientes (Hot Springs Town) where you will spend the night. There will be plenty of time to relax if you want to have a hot bath in the natural springs!!!
The train ride consist is an spectacular views along the way in this wonderful land of the Incas, amazing landscapes of mountains and valleys, Inca farming terraces, in both sides of the valley, snow capped mountains, and sub-tropical jungle near the Ceja de Selva. From Pachar the sacred Vilcanota river will be our company untill the end. Aguas Calientes town is set in 2,040 mts and is the closest access point to Machupicchu. You will continue the last 30 minutes by train to the end of the line in Aguas Calientes train Station, where the representative will pick you up then you will be transferred to your hotel VARAYOC. or another similar hotel.
Afternoon free time to wander around the markets and settle in. Buffet Lunch and Dinner will be provided. If you would like you can hike to the Mandor Waterfall, climb to Putucusi Mountain or just relax walking the plaza.
Around 7 pm you will have a briefing by the tour guide in your hotel.
Day 4: Sun gate at Machupicchu
After breakfast your Guide will get you on the first bus (6.00am) up to Machu Picchu. You will have a guided tour (aproxímatela 3-4 hours) and then plenty of time to explore the mysterious city by yourself. The transport it us up to the top 2,400 mts, It only takes 25-30 minutes After of crossing the old bridge it will be a series of curving and curving driving in the middle of a low jungle with fern trees and wild orchids and flowers from the last part of the road it will be very visible the massif mountain of Huaynapicchu.
Other things to do around Machupicchu on the second day.
You can climb Huayna Picchu mountain 2700 m ( 90 Min ); (the mountain behind Machu Picchu). It takes 45 minutes to reach the top and the view from the top over Machu Picchu is worth it. (There is a limit of 400 people who are permitted to climb this, so if you want to do it, it is good to go immediately after your tour.) From the top of this mountain you can also walk down to the Moon Temple (a cave). It takes 45 more minutes to get there and from there, a further hour walk to get back to Machu Picchu itself.
• Walk up to the Sun Gate (45 minutes to 1 hour).
• Walk to the Inca Bridge (40 minutes).
You will take the bus down to the town of Aguas Calientes which is not included its about 45minutes to an hour to walk through low jungle to Aguas Calientes or you can just pay for a tickets there ( $7 ) . Return by Tourist Train to Piscacucho then prívate transport back to Cusco and transfer back to Hotel Marqueses.
Day 5 : Good bye Cusco.
Transfer to airport for the flight back to Lima. OR to any bus terminal in Cusco.
